I’m a teacher, presenter, writer, translator and researcher currently working at University of Oxford as a specialist in assistive technologies.

Talking

I give talks at conferences, run workshops and training sessions whenever I can.

I’ve also organised a few conferences to let other people talk.

Writing

I write about metaphor, education, technology and productivity. I blog, write papers, and reports.

I’ve also translated a book, co-edited an academic volume, and wrote a grammar of Czech for learners.

Researching

I research how people think and how they talk about it (and vice versa). This is often in applied contexts like education or technology but sometimes in pure linguistics or metaphor theory.

I’ve also done research text structure and Slavic Aspect.
